The key to handling a high ball on your tennis forehand side is that you keep your hitting-arm relationship -- the relationship between your tennis racket, wrist, and arm -- exactly the same as a normal forehand, but you raise the entire structure together as a unit at the shoulder. Other than that, the technique necessary for hitting a high ball to the forehand is pretty much the same!
